Your six items are not a series of claims that get narrower and narrower until they result in a very specific claim that can be researched and tested for proof.
If you want to start with “only known for their background” and use that first position to investigate the prejudices (both personal and institutional) built in to the academic system that make it difficult for the first-in-the-family college student to succeed, let’s go!
But that becomes your 1), not your 6).
