We live among each other with the awareness of being alive, but not the security where we come from. Dominicans with Haitian descents have clear who they are in the world; nonetheless, their identity has been put into doubt by the sentence TC 0168-13 in the Dominican Republic. At an excellent time of relation among Haiti and the Dominican Republic, Haitians who worked at cone fields were granted with Dominican documentation. In 1929 the Dominican Constitution was changed, and with the new change, the Constitution stated that in order to be Dominican the person at least had a parent who was Dominican regardless where that person was born. However, documentation was provided to Haitians born in the Dominican Republic after the amendment. Now, the Dominicans with Haitians descents are experiencing order of deportation after they were granted with documentation.
