Wed Jan28th- Learned how to create a hyperlink in our posts. Everything you write is crap, pick out the things you like, and destroy them. Stone money? What? Oh, Dave will explain. Micronesian Island called Yap, the people are called Yap, and the currency is Fei. Money made of limestone. The bigger the fei the better. The Yap’s sense of currency is not much different than ours in America. Brazilian economy in total turmoil, 4 economists developed URV’s to slowly lower the inflation rate over time. Brazil’s economy went from extremely poor to quite stable and successful. What even is money? Mind blown. Sunday night read the post and complete assignment.
I hope you’re serious about “mind blown,” youdontknowwhoiam. It blew my mind too, when I listened to the broadcast and then read further on the subject. Looking closely at everyday items and transactions often reveals the completely counterintuitive nature of much of our lives. Welcome to class.

Yea, sorry. I was given 3 days excused absence by the Rowan wellness center for the flu, since it’s contagious, they basically kicked me off campus for the weekend until yesterday. I don’t know how teachers are supposed to know I had 3 days excused because they didn’t give me a doctors note but the doctor submitted something online, maybe on the university attendance portal? Not sure.

Not concerned about that, only that I hate for you to miss class and wanted to reach out to express my interest in your continued success. Don’t neglect your agenda if you’re well enough to work. The new assignment is not particularly taxing and you’re REQUIRED to limit yourself to an hour for it, so you can fit it in between naps. Get well. See you on Wednesday if you can.
