Definition Essays – Takes the definition and can define through moral value, law, and define every single thing that the word defined word could mean.  Think about loopholes.

Professor opened with Maps by The Front Bottoms

I did not hit update on the notes I don’t know why but thats why they are not here.

WED JAN 28 Professor Hodges opened with WAR by Edwin Starr. Open your notes and write something important that shows you participated in class if you are here. You can attach a link by highlighting a word and hitting the chain things. As long as you put something reasonable in by the deadline you can always edit it before the grade. Your first draft is always crap, no matter how great you think it is, even if it is great, its still crap. Yap was an island in Micronesia- in Pacific owned by Germany. 1904- Anthropologist wrote a book about the people of Yap and their Stone Money – HUGE LIMESTONE DISKS Nearest Limestone is 400 miles away. Shaped and brought Limestone on canoes. Stone Money – Fay Anyone could hold their fay but if its theirs than thats all their riches. Man made best Fay ever-lost it but people told story about how great this Fay was and therefore was the richest man on the island. Germans wanted paths built so they were up to code with them. Germans impoverished their fay until they repaved the road. France wanted gold from US but did not want trouble and expense so US set it aside for France. INFLATION

Nice notes, entendu, heavy on the technical details though and light on the concepts. I wonder whether you’ll remember either using this technique. Not criticizing, everybody has a style that works. Just trying to engage you in conversation.
